Our
Solutions
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
RFID technology makes it possible to control trolley stock both automatically (in real time) through the installation of antennas and the use by airport staff of hand-held readers.
Ultra Wide Band (UWB)
Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology not only monitors the location of the trolleys in real time but also the entire movement of the trolleys within the limits of the airport. This technology provides an accuracy of 10cm in the geolocation of airport trolleys.
Short for Long Range (LoRa)
LoRaWAN network covers the entirety of the airport’s grounds to allow the efficient monitoring of trolleys in use and the location of each. Following the solution’s initial rollout in November 2019, airport management has seen direct savings of 30% to 40% and indirect savings up to 60% as a result of increased management effectiveness in a few key areas. These include increased inventory accuracy and efficiency, smart planning and stocking at airport hot spots based on varying arrival and departure information and an overall reduction in trolley theft.
AI Camera CCTV
IoT cameras equipped with AI video analytics can do much more than just video. Ajay Kattige, Solutions Consultant at Security & Safety Things, said “We at Security & Safety Things aim to bring the latest AI technology to IoT cameras, enabling them to perform more and sophisticated tasks in airport security measures.” He adds, “We make adding powerful features to surveillance cameras as easy as installing apps on smartphone.”
